Documents Required

Copies of required documents are provided to apply

  1. Copy of Declaration Gazette (Trust Order)
  2. Copy of Minutes of Meeting
    • Must be held twice (2) a year
    • Please submit six (6) minutes of meetings for a period of three (3) years based on the Gazette declaration period;
    • Renewal applications are encouraged to be submitted one (1) month in advance before the period of validity expiry;
  3. Copy of Annual Statement of Accounts
    • Must be held once (1) a year;
    • Please submit three (3) annual statement reports for a period of three (3) years based on the Gazette declaration period;
  4. Copy of Proof of Title to Property/Assets (Land Grant/Building/etc)
  5. List of Organizational Structure::
    • Chairman
    • Deputy chairman
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer
    • Not less than three (3) and not more than seven (7) members/Trustees

The card will give privileges such as special discounts at selected food outlets, grocery stores and various other services.

To apply for KGC, the applicant must be a Malaysian citizen with ‘K’ status on the identity card, a permanent resident of Sarawak and aged 60 and above on 1 January 2020.

KGC provides privileges and advantages such as discounts on products and services for the people of Sarawak from KGC's strategic vendor partners. It also offers a compassionate assistance of RM3,000 to cover funeral expenses in the event of the cardholder's death.

Applicants can obtain application forms from the Welfare Department, Resident's Office, District Offices and sub -districts throughout the state. Or you can continue to browse the KWKPK website to upload the application form and send it to the government office involved.

Registration can also be made through the iSarawakCare mobile application which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

No. In addition to the non -expiring lifespan, KGC also has the power to determine the validity period of certain promotions/campaigns that may be offered from time to time.
