To apply for KGC, the applicant must be a Malaysian citizen with ‘K’ status on the identity card, a permanent resident of Sarawak and aged 60 and above on 1 January 2020.
KGC provides privileges and advantages such as discounts on products and services for the people of Sarawak from KGC's strategic vendor partners. It also offers a compassionate assistance of RM3,000 to cover funeral expenses in the event of the cardholder's death.
Vendors will have a sign of the Kenyalang Gold Card displayed at their shops. If you see one, show your Kenyalang Gold Card to the vendor to receive special privileges.
Applicants can obtain application forms from the Welfare Department, Resident's Office, District Offices and sub -districts throughout the state.
